water reader
The water meter reader uses an integrated precision chip to accurately count the rotations of your water meter's metallic pulse disc. Each rotation corresponds to a specific amount of water, which the sensor automatically converts into measurable consumption .
USB-C port
The water level reader is powered via the USB-C port. Simply connect the included power adapter to ensure a reliable power supply.
LED status and pulse indicator
The integrated LED indicates whether the water meter installation was successful and a connection has been established. It also flashes when pulses are detected – so you know immediately that your water consumption is being reliably recorded.
Step 1
Install water readers
Attach the water meter reader directly to the appropriate spot on your water meter . If the meter does not have a smooth surface to which the reader will magnetically adhere, use the included adapter for secure mounting.
Step 2
Attach metal plate
If your water meter has a smooth surface , attach the included metal plate so that the USB-C port of the water reader is level with the plate and the sensor 's reading unit is positioned directly above the rotating metal disc . This ensures that the pulses are accurately detected and water consumption is reliably measured .
Step 3
Connect & integrate into app
Connect the water meter to the power adapter using the included USB-C cable and plug it into a wall socket. Then open the water meter app , follow the simple pairing steps – and you can start tracking your water consumption live.
compatibility
The water meter measures water consumption by detecting the rotations of the small metal disc or plate inside the meter as pulses. It is compatible if your meter has such a metal disc/plate above the red rotating element. It can be attached using an adapter or the included metal plate , which is glued to the meter and to which the water meter magnetically adheres.
Counters without a metal disc/metal plate at this point are not compatible , as the sensor cannot detect pulses there.
